Information on this site
Our articles, guides, checklists and FAQ answers are general information written by our team. They are not an inspection, a professional opinion about your building or legal advice. Building codes, DOB, DEP and utility rules change, and every building is different, so check with us or the relevant agency before acting on anything you read here. Gas work, gas shut offs and boiler work must be done by a licensed professional. If you smell gas, leave the building and call 911 and your utility first.
Service requests and appointments
- Sending the request form, the chat assistant or a text message is a request for service, not a booking. A visit is confirmed only when dispatch confirms it with you.
- Arrival windows are estimates. Traffic, weather and emergencies can change them, as explained in our warranty, estimate and offer terms.
- Do not use the form or chat for emergencies such as an active leak, a sewer backup or no heat. Call 718-748-2727, 24 hours a day.
- Please give accurate contact and address information. We are not responsible for delays caused by wrong or incomplete details.
Estimates, prices and offers
The price, scope and schedule of any work are set only in a written estimate or invoice from Nationwide Plumbers. Nothing on this website is an offer to do a specific job at a specific price. Coupons, plan prices and financing shown on the site are subject to their own terms on our warranty and offer terms page, our maintenance plans page and the lender's terms, and they may change or end at any time. If anything on the site conflicts with your signed estimate or invoice, the estimate or invoice controls.
Warranties for our work
Warranties on our labor and on the equipment we install are described on our warranty and offer terms page and on your invoice. These website terms do not change those warranties.
Texts, calls and chat
If you agree to receive text messages about your request, our SMS terms apply. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time. The chat assistant on this site uses artificial intelligence to answer questions and collect service requests. Its answers can be wrong or incomplete, so confirm anything important with our office. Do not send payment card numbers or other sensitive information through the chat, the form or a text. How we handle your information is explained in our privacy policy.
Using the site
Please do not:
- send false requests, spam, sales pitches or automated submissions through the form, chat or phone numbers on this site;
